Responsible Gaming

This page sets out practical habits worth deciding on before any money is involved, together with a plain account of what this site can and cannot do. Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. Those links are placed in the same position across the whole build and are the only outbound links here that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one.

Decide the shape of a session before it starts

Fix an amount before you begin and treat it as already spent, the way you would treat the price of a ticket to an event. Deciding in advance removes the moment of pressure where a bigger number feels reasonable simply because the session is already underway. Never chase a loss: a loss is information that the session has ended badly, not a signal to stage a recovery, and gambling with borrowed money turns an entertainment budget into a debt. Taking a break at a set point, rather than playing until something forces a stop, keeps the decision in your hands rather than the game's. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling necessary, involve someone else early — a partner, a friend, or one of the organisations linked on this page — while the situation is still small enough to talk about calmly.

Know which controls exist and where they actually live

  • Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an account held with an operator. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check its status, or enforce it.
  • Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any check of that kind happens at the destination a reader is redirected to.
  • No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.
  • The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing.

Read the listing to the end before following it

Each of the ten operator listings on this site ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.

Understand what this site records about a visit

This site collects a small amount of visit data — the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine and the text of a clicked outbound button — and only when a visitor arrives from a search engine. That data is used solely to count page views and outbound clicks, is stored in logs on this same domain, and is never shared with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services. Following a link to gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au or responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au opens a separate site that receives the request directly from your browser and keeps its own record of it; this site does not control what happens there.
